About

Oh, the dreaded “About” page that all bloggers have to painstakingly put together. . . .I know that there are not a lot of people who will actually read this so I’ll keep it short and sweet. Because honestly, you’ll learn more about me by reading my blog than reading this damn “About” page.

My name is Keely Reeves. My nicknames include Keels, Kiki and Artemis and several others. This is me (below).

Me

This blog, titled “The Inner Workings” is purely for me. I’d like to say that it is for the readers but really, it’s not. This blog is so I can get back to my writing. Do I want you to read my blog? Of course! That’s the second reason why I created this! However, how many of you will actually do so? So I won’t be put off if no one reads my blog. I will still continue to write.

This blog, besides being a place where I can get back to my writing, is also for my rants about fandoms, politics, school, current events, poetry, nonfiction writing (and even some fanfiction writing. . . .) etc. Whatever I so desire to write about will be here.

This Spring 2020, I graduated with two bachelors in Motion Pictures and Professional/Technical Writing. I am now in the graduate program for Professional/Technical Writing at UA Little Rock.

I don’t post frequently (working on that). I am a very busy person and honestly, sometimes I don’t know what to write. (2019 actually has the most posts and I’ve had this blog since Spring 2017.)

Besides writing I enjoy: painting, drawing, photography. I am hoping to delve deeper into photography this summer.

My BFF Caroline and I have started a podcast during this pandemic crisis called “Disturbed Nerds.” We talk about, you guessed it, all the nerdy things. All the fandoms ever. It’s going quite well, in fact. You can check it out on YouTube, Spotify, and WordPress.

Do I know what I’m doing? No. Not really. I just want to write, draw, paint, take pictures and maybe one day become a famous movie producer. How will I get there, I don’t know. But I will get there. And if I’m dedicated enough, this blog will document the journey.
