I released the first two episodes of Keels Reels two weeks ago on March 2nd. It’ll be two this coming Saturday since I started it. I’m still high from the buzz of actually doing it rather than simply talking about. And yes, I realize it has been a minute since I posted a new episode. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about the podcast. I simply got busy. Hello, I’m a college student too. However, I do know what the next few episodes are going to be about. I even have most of it recorded (and sort of edited). This will be a sort of preview, or like a teaser, on what to expect in the next few episodes.
Episode 03 – Spiderman: Far From Home – (subtitle is?)
[Still trying to come up a catchy subtitle like I have for Captain Marvel. It can’t be too long. Any ideas? Make suggestions in the comments!]
- this episode starts with me talking about the multitude of Spiderman movies we’ve had and the 3 different actors we’ve had to play everyone’s favorite web-slinger
- then I start the trailer and give my thoughts on it
- I end the episode by pointing out Marvel Studios sort of ruined that Peter Parker and Nick Fury come back from the Snap (sorry – the Decimation) because they released the trailer for Spiderman: Far From Home
- this leads into the next episode about Avengers: Endgame

Episode 04 – Avengers: Endgame – Whatever It Takes
[Subtitle taken from the newest trailer that just dropped today. If you haven’t seen it, WATCH IT NOW. OH MY GOODNESS.]
- this episode starts with me basically lamenting about what happened in Avengers: Infinity War and talking about how devastating that was (not to mention traumatizing)
- then I break the trailers and give my thoughts on it
- the end of the episode will focus on the theories about this movie and trust me, there are A LOT of theories about who saves the day. Is it Ant-Man? Is it Captain Marvel? Maybe it’s not even them, maybe it’s Tony Stark or even someone we haven’t met yet.
- this leads into the next episode about my review on Captain Marvel

Episode 05 – Captain Marvel Review – Just a Girl
[First, SPOILERS. IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE MOVE STOP NOW. Okay, now that’s covered. The title is from a scene in the movie that I’ll explain in the video. It’s a sarcastic subtitle.]
- the episode starts with me talking about the beautiful tribute to Stan Lee at the beginning of the movie
- then leads into why that subtitle
- then I give a quick rundown of the movie and afterwards, discuss what I thought about the movie
- I point out a few things that I noticed as well as a few things that my cousin Paul did as well
- ends somehow (not sure what yet lol, maybe about her and Thor being BFFs)
[Most of this episode is recorded, like 30 minutes of me talking. I simply need to record the intro and the end.]
Okay, switching up gears here so it’s not like I’m all about superheroes. . . .even though I really sort of am. . . .
Episode 06 – Disney – Bringing the Magic Back
[UPDATE: Title and subtitle found. Shout out to my BFF Angela Ash for that help.
- talk about how the past few years Disney has been live-actioning their movies like Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book and The Legend of Tarzan
- talk about Dumbo (and how it’s going to make be bawl like a baby)
- talk about Aladdin and how everyone’s not happy with Will Smith’s Genie because we all know Genie as Robin Williams
- talk about The Lion King and the ‘live action’ lions. . . .even though the lions are mostly CGI (On the other hand they have James Earl Jones playing Mufusa once again so that’s amazing.)
- end with what Disney movies I want to get the live-action treatment
[All of this needs to be recorded and then edited and posted.]
Aaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnddddddddd we’re back to superheroes. . . Sorry not sorry. :)))
Episode 07 – Shazam – (subtitle is?)
[No subtitle yet at all. Again, ideas? All I got is “Say My Name.”]
- into about DC movies and about how most of the have bombed other than Wonder Woman and Aquaman
- talk about why DC movies and failed (and why they need to take a page from DC Animated Universe)
- lead up into the trailer of Shazam! and my thoughts on the trailer and what the movie will be like

Episode 08 – Hellboy – (subtitle is?)
[No subtitle yet. Ideas? Suggestions? I have nothing.]
- intro talking about how leery I was of this movie because I love the OG Hellboy. . . until I saw the trailer of this movie

And those are all the episodes I have planned right now. I have plans for episodes on Dark Phoenix, Detective Pikachu, Brightburn, It: Chapter Two and New Mutants. There will of course be companion episodes to all these movies when I actually go see the movie.
